Give peace a chance...

Violence, aggression, destruction, mistrust, anger, and harm continue to dwell over our need to protect godliness. In the name of God, groups of people continue to instil violence and hatred with no concern for respect to humanity. Radical groups have, in unprecedented rallies around the world, communicated that death shall be upon their ‘enemies’.

Its frustrates me to think how difficult it is to convince people that we seriously need to give peace a chance.

This is a great post. We need to unite and not ignite.

Dear Steph,

We need peace now more than ever.

Dear Dr. D,

We have to. I cant help wonder what psychologists/fake psychologists can do to aid a united human society...

Yes! I love to see someone get outraged like this (without violence added, of course). This is righteous anger--not killing others because they don't worship or whatever the "right" way, like we do. My own personal rant is this: How can we ever expect to stop killing "strangers" and people who don't agree with us, when we as a species continue to allow our own precious, innocent children to be raped, tortured and killed...in their own homes??!! I ask you, anyone, everyone, HOW?

Dear marj,

Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. Its comments like yours that compels action. You are right, a peace does begin at home. I like the way Michael Jackson put it: all change needs to start with the person in the mirror.

Dear disco-very,

Lovely to see you comment. Lets look ways to build and foster non-violence.
*hugs* back

ironically, people fight with the chance of peace in mind, and their irrationality reflects the need to understand the term and history of war and peace.the question is,are our thoughts progressive or primitive in an era who put emphasis on scientific and logical rationalism? i wonder...

Dear *long long name* (such a complicated name ;))

i wonder too.. however, ANY action that perpetrates violence is wicked and must be stopped. For so long, different groups have cited the masses and perpetrated its own agenda. The extremist Islamic groups for example have called for jihad and we assume that this is what "every" Muslim wants. That is however far from reality. Extremists are a few and they must be stopped. The moderate communities of this world must speak out.

the moderate Americans have spoken out against GWBush's idea of war. What has the rest of the world done?

i wonder...
